Mr. Nizar Juma is a Non-Executive Director and the Chairperson of Jubilee Insurance (Mauritius) Ltd (JIML). He is also the Group Chairperson of Jubilee Holdings Limited and of its subsidiaries, and has served in this capacity since July 2004. The subsidiaries include those in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi. Mr. Juma is also the regional Chairperson of the Industrial Promotion Services Group of companies, and a Director of Diamond Trust bank (DTB). He holds a joint honours degree in Economics, Law and Accountancy from the University of Wales, and was awarded the Silver Star by H.E the President of Kenya in 1982 for outstanding services to the nation.

Mr. Sherali Rawji was appointed as an Executive Director on the Board of JIML on 21 October, 2019.  He was the Group Chief Finance Officer from November 2013 till October 2018 and since November 2018 is the Group Chief Operations Officer of Jubilee Holdings Limited. Prior to joining the Jubilee Group he had in his capacity as Financial and Management Consultant advised corporates including those listed on Stock Exchanges on strategic planning, project analysis, and project financing. He has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including insurance, operating in markets such as London, Canada and East Africa. Ali is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Graduate from London School of Economics, in Economics and Business Finance.

Mr. John Metcalf is a Non-Executive Director and was appointed on the Board of JIML as from 1 November 2011. He is also a member of the Board of Jubilee Holdings Limited since November 2006, and is a director on its Kenyan, Tanzanian and Ugandan Boards. He has extensive international experience in the insurance industry, and is currently the Head of Insurance for the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development.

Mr. Jacques de Navacelle was appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of JIML as from 1 November 2011 until 28 October 2015, when he was appointed as Executive Director. He holds a Maîtrise de Philosophie and is a graduate of the Institut de Commerce International. After 27 years with the Barclays Group in France, South Africa and Mauritius, he joined The Mauritius Union Assurance Co. Ltd in May 2005 as Chief Executive Officer until 2010. Until 2011, when he retired, he held directorships in several companies in Mauritius in the tourism industry, sugar industry as well as the construction sector. He was the Chairman of the Joint Economic Council for two years and the Chairman of Transparency Mauritius. Today he is the Chairman of Expand Technology, a Mauritius based company, specialized in international payment systems actively involved in several African countries. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Jubilee Board since September 2018.

Mrs. Shabnam Esmael was appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of JIML on 26 September 2017. Mrs. Esmael holds a bachelor degree in foreign languages and a BTS in International Business from the University of Reunion Island. She is a Partner and Director of CQTech (Mtius) Ltd since 1995, a company specialized in security consulting and services. She is also a part-time coach/trainer for Dale Carnegie Training Centre for soft skills development for corporate. Mrs. Shabnam is also an active member of the AMFCE (Association Mauricienne des Femmes Entrepreneurs) for helping and mentoring of young women entrepreneur and WIN (Women in Network), networking of women in business.

Mr. Dinesh Tulsidas was appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of JIML on 20 August 2014. Mr Dinesh Tulsidas holds a BSc Management Science from the University of Warwick and an MSc Computer Science from the Imperial College, London. He is the Managing Director of the Jetha Tulsidas Group which is the leading brand of traditional and ethnic wear in Mauritius. Over the years, the Group has diversified into real estate business and also operates a Freeport Company which exports to several African Countries.

Mr. Jacques Tin Miow Li Wan Po was appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of JIML on 1 November 2011. He is a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is currently the Chairperson and the Managing Director of Jacques Li Wan Po Group of Companies operating in the manufacturing and trading food sector. He is also the Executive Chairperson of New Goodwill Investment Group including International Distillers (Mauritius) Ltd operating in the alcoholic beverages industry, the Vice-Chairman of Médine Group and a Director of EUDCOS Group. Mr. Li Wan Po is also a Director of Bank of China since 2016. From 2005 to 2014, he was a Director of the Bank of Mauritius and from 2009 to 2012, he was a member of the Monetary Policy Committee.
